Still in production the striking building remains in its original modernism form. Location: Badalona. Founded: (1870). Founders: Bosch and Grau brothers.
The three Chimneys. Tres Xemeneies. Located in the gardens of Poble sec provides an excellent example of industrial architecture toward the end of the nineteenth, to the beginning of the 20th century. Between February and March in the year 1919 the site became a pawn in the Catalan workers movement. Location: Sants-Montjuïc.
Port Vell. Known in Barcelona as the old harbour. Once a major power of the seas. Containing a deep rooted history. Park Güell. Originally conceived as an exclusive gated residential community. A change of fortune due to a lack of demand for the future of modern housing meant re conception. Park Güell finally opened in1926 as an intricately decorated public park. Construction: (1900-1914). Location: Gracia. Architect: Antoni Gaudi (1883-1926). Awarded: UNESCO World heritage site (1984).
